so apparently there are two new bands to keep an eye out for
both British and already media friendly (and signed if I may add), they seem to be creating some sort of buzz.
The first, the White Lies, are currently in the US touring with Glasvegas (funny cause I personally think the White Lies actually have it going rather than glasvegas..) and deliver a very brit early U2 vibe.

the second band is a little more 'out there'- their instrument use and just song structures are a little more unconventional. Also their sound is a lot more electro based than the White Lies' as you can hear if you go here:
