first off though, as most of you may know, next week in New York city is music/arts/party week because CMJ Music Marathon is in town! anyone in nyc let me know if you're down to catch some shows! I'll only be able to catch a couple days because of work but super excited to hear new music all day and to follow certain bands as they venture through nyc.

artists to look out for (known and not): Lykke Li, Bomb the Bass, Takka Takka, Passion Pit, Vivian Girls, The Whip, Fujiya&Miyagi, Kid:Nap:Kin, Broken Social Scene, Au, Friendly Fires, Pretty Good Dance Moves, Deerhoof, Mumpsy and the Delays amongst hundreds of others!
best thing about the search thing is that you can search by band too! woooo
